Don’t miss Mr Heiko Buchholz’ quite special (and humouristic) “safari guided tour”! 45 minutes, 2 safaris sessions in English and 1 in French from 8 PM to 9 PM, registration at the IASCL welcome desk

Junior Scientist Meeting, Tuesday 18th, BR18, 6PM

Are you a young researcher (post-doc or doctoral student)? Join us for a friendly scientific dating session and imagine your future projects with other junior scientists! This event will take place on Tuesday at 6 PM, after the first poster session. Through our re-purposing of speed dating to an exchange about scientific topics, discover the research interests you may share with your discussion partners. Let’s see how many unexpected collaborations will emerge to create innovative language studies

This year, IASCL’s gala dinner will be held on July 20 at the Palais de la Bourse, one of the most beautiful historic buildings in Lyon. Located in the very center of Lyon (20 minutes walking distance from the congress venue), the Palais de la Bourse currently houses the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon and is normally closed to the public. The Palais de la Bourse has been classified a National Heritage since 1994.
The evening will start at 7:30 pm to end around midnight. A fine meal, catered by Serge Magner, will give you the opportunity to taste famous French cuisine, cooked using quality local products, while enjoying musical entertainment.
You’re more than welcome to join us and enjoy this convivial dinner. Regular fare is 65€ per person, student fare is 45€, and 85€ for non-registered accompanying person.

You are invited to register for the gala dinner directly on IASCL online registration website at the same time that you register for the conference. Unfortunately it is not possible to register for the gala dinner separately. As there is limited seating available it is advised to book as early as possible for this dinner. As soon as the limit has been reached it will be announced on the congress website.
